Welcome to We Pray Monterey! We are a community of believers dedicated to coming together in prayer and worship. Our mission is to create a space where people can connect, grow, and find hope through the power of prayer. We host community prayer events on the Monterey Peninsula and invite Christians of all denominations to join together by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We meet monthly across the peninsula as different churches host these gatherings.

SERVE

We actively partner with other ministries, including The Bridge to support and build up neighborhoods, schools, and families in Monterey County.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light shine among the people so that they observe your good works and give glory to your Heavenly Father.

Galatians 6:10 Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers

STAND

We stand on the Bible as the Word of God (John 1) and God’s promises of salvation through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:10 We stand firm in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and “continue steadfastly in prayer being watchful in it with thanksgiving.” (Colossians 4:2).

SEEK

As one voice we call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ on behalf of our nation and local communities

II Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by My name, humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land.

Matt 7: 7-8 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
